General Conditions of Sale


The present conditions govern the sales by OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY sprl. They are applicable as of August 1, 2020, unless expressly stipulated otherwise in the special agreements concluded between the parties or in the special sales conditions specific to certain categories of products.

Sales made by OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY are subject to the present general terms and conditions, which prevail over all general clauses that may appear on the buyer's documents, unless OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY formally and expressly waives them.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY reserves the right to adapt or modify the present general sales conditions at any time. The latest version of these terms and conditions is available on the website In the event of modification, the general terms and conditions of sale in force on the day the order was placed shall apply to each order.

Any buyer (hereafter the "Customer(s)") is deemed to have read and accepted the general conditions of sale by placing the order.


The prices are indicative and expressed in Burundian Francs excluding taxes (HT). The applicable prices are those in force on the day of the order and can be consulted, if necessary, on the site

As prices are always subject to agreements with suppliers, OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY reserves the right to modify them at any time.


The products remain the property of OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY until the effective payment of the full price in principal and accessories. As soon as the Customer takes physical possession of the products ordered, the risks of loss or damage to the products are transferred to him/her.

The contractual information is presented in French and will be confirmed at the latest at the time of validation of your order.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY reserves the right not to register a payment, and not to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, and more particularly in the event of a supply problem, or in the event of difficulty concerning the order received.


Any order placed on OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY implies adherence to the present General Conditions. Any confirmation of an order implies your full and complete acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, without exception or reservation.  

All the data provided and the recorded confirmation will be considered as proof of the transaction. 

You declare that you are fully aware of this.  

The confirmation of the order will be worth signature and acceptance of the operations carried out.  

A summary of the information of your order, will be communicated to you in PDF format via the e-mail address of confirmation of your order. 


Orders placed by any means are deliverable according to the supply possibilities of OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY. Delivery times are given as an indication, and changes in delivery times do not constitute a breach of contractual obligation and cannot be sanctioned by damages.

All products weighing more than 40 kg will be delivered on the first floor. Delivery on the first floor is possible as an option upon request when placing the order with our customer service.

Shipments are made by the most economical way, unless otherwise stipulated. The goods travel at the risk of the recipient.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY uses a shipping slip to collect the signature of the Customer and any delivery anomalies and to immediately inform several departments within OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY (logistics, customer service, sales, IT)

In the case of deliveries by a partner carrier, OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery due exclusively to the client's unavailability after several proposed appointments. 


The fact of validating an order implies the obligation to pay the price indicated.

Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date, subject to financial acceptance of the file, and without discount for early payment.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY reserves the right to review the payment terms granted in the event of financial deterioration of the Customer.

The payment method is Cash, Bank Transfer, Direct Debit, Check, Crypto currencies.

By express agreement, failure to pay for products by the due date may result in :

- The possibility of postponing new deliveries

- The denunciation of the payment term granted

- The immediate payment of all the sums remaining due

- The payment of a fixed compensation of 15% of the due debt, as a penalty clause, with a fixed minimum of 100 000 BIF


The Customer undertakes not to divulge any information received from OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY during the supply of its products.

The Customer agrees not to use the aforementioned information, in any form whatsoever, for any purpose other than the execution of orders with OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY.


The choice of products remains the sole decision and responsibility of the Customer; the latter remains the sole judge of the determination of his needs and the compatibility of the selected products with respect to his needs and the use for which he intends them. The Customer is also solely responsible for the conservation and/or use of the products ordered. OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY shall not be held liable in any way in this respect.

It is the Customer's responsibility to refer to the product information (e.g.: safety data sheets, instructions for use) that may appear on the websites and, on the manufacturer's website, on the packaging and/or the documentation accompanying the product, prior to any order or use, in order to be aware of the characteristics of the product with regard to its intended use. The descriptions and information relating to the products transmitted or made available by OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY via its catalogs (paper or online versions) are not exhaustive and are provided for information purposes only.

Given the technical nature, composition and/or specific destination of certain products sold, the Customer is required to strictly respect the manufacturer's prescriptions and safety recommendations and to use these products with care.

The photographs and illustrations accompanying the products, whether they appear in OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY's catalogs (paper or online versions) and/or on the website, have no contractual value.

The list and characteristics of the products may be modified and adapted at any time.

The offer of products is understood to be within the limits of available stocks.


The withdrawal period is 2 days (48 hours) after receipt of the product(s). After this period, OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY reserves the right to refuse any claim. In all cases, the product(s) in question may only be returned to the delivery address, in perfect condition for resale and in the original packaging.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY does not accept any return of products without prior express agreement.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY makes the following exceptions to the right of retraction:

- The supply of services fully executed before the end of the withdrawal period and whose execution has begun after the consumer's prior express agreement and express renunciation of his right of withdrawal.

- The supply of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market beyond the control of the trader and which may occur during the withdrawal period.

- The supply of goods made to the specifications of the consumer or clearly personalized.

- The supply of goods likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.

- The supply of goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

- The supply of goods which, after delivery and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items;

- The supply of audio or video recordings or computer software when they have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery.

- The supply of a newspaper, periodical or magazine, except for subscription contracts to these publications.

- The supply of digital content not provided on a physical medium whose execution has begun after prior express consent of the consumer and express waiver of his right of withdrawal.


The Products are sold to the Customer as an end user and may not be resold to third parties without the prior written consent of OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY, under penalty of any damages and interest.


The maximum amount of compensation that may be paid by OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY as a result of an event related to the supply of products to the Customer shall not exceed the cumulative amount of the sums invoiced to the Customer, except in the case of personal injury.

OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY's liability shall in no case be called into question for indirect damage such as (without this list being restrictive) loss of operation, loss of income or financial loss, etc.


The fact that OFFICE MARKET SUPPLY does not avail itself of any provision of the present general conditions of sale may not be interpreted as a waiver on its part of the right to avail itself of said provision at a later date.


The present general conditions of sale are subject to Burundian law.

Any dispute relating to the execution or interpretation of these general terms and conditions of sale shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Bujumbura, regardless of the terms of the contract, even in the event of multiple defendants.
